Low-volume batch and mass production

Mass production, regardless of the batch, is produced on high-end equipment of Haas, Mazak, Hitachi Seiki, Mitsubishi companies.

All machines are characterized by the possibility of simultaneous use of three to five coordinates, as well as high-precision and high-speed machining. CNC machining is possible using any material, from conventional steel and aluminum to titanium and hard alloys.

Mass production is the production of a large number of products based on division of labor, high specialization and continuity. During the production process, the product is continuously moved, processed or transported between production workstations. The workstation at any time performs work involving certain stages of the production process. After transferring an element to the next workstation, the next element should be processed in order to maintain continuity of work. Workstations are placed one after the other, so that the time allocated to the transfer of production elements between them is minimal. For mass production is also characterized by high repeatability of the production process.

The advantages of mass production:

  •  The main advantage of mass production is the lower cost per unit. This is due to the specialization of work, which also contributes to improving the quality of products. Therefore, in the long term, the company can produce more products of better quality at a given amount of cost, which in turn reduces the cost per produced product.
  •  Another advantage is that the reproducibility of the work contributes to achieving better results. Continuous performance of the same tasks contributes to the improvement of production processes and the entire production system.
